The Heart of Business is a weekly virtual gathering for BNI professionals who understand that emotional intelligence, relational depth, and personal integrity are core to business success.

Structure of the Hour

  1. Grounding & Centering (5 min)
    Simple somatic or mindfulness practice to reset, slow down, and become present.

  2. Welcome & Check-In (5 min)
    Quick personal intros: Name, Chapter, Business, and a one-word check-in.

  3. Theme of the Week (10 min)
    A short leadership insight, emotional prompt, or relational reflection connecting personal growth to business leadership. (Example: “How does your communication at home mirror your leadership at work?”)

  4. Group Practice & Reflections (25 min)
    Each week, we’ll engage in a heart-centered group activity — such as delivering a 60-second presentation with emotional presence — followed by feedback from the group that highlight authenticity and connection. Some weeks, we’ll simply share real experiences of doing business with heart — from overcoming fears, working with difficult clients, or leading with vulnerability, to celebrating breakthroughs, triumphs, and deep moments of insight.

  5. Group Insight / Coaching Moment (10 min)
    Facilitated group reflection — identifying common threads, offering relevant tools, or spotlighting patterns that relate back to business growth.

  6. Closing & Connection (5 min)
    Drop contact info in chat, optional final share, upcoming events, announcements, or support offers.
